Dr. Gerald Harzl

For more than 20 years with Magna, Mr. Harzl currently holds the position Vice President of Human Resources at Magna International Europe, based in Graz/Vienna, Austria. He is part of the global HR senior leadership team which is providing global governance and strategic initiatives to drive excellence in all areas of HR. His previous positions at Magna include Global Director People Development & Training at Magna International and multiple previous assignments in the field of people development & training in various Magna Groups. Before joining Magna, Mr. Harzl worked as a General Manager in a non-profit organization for people with disabilities and as an HR Consultant.

Born in Graz, Austria on April 20, 1963, Gerald Harzl is married and has 2 daughters. He received his PhD in Psychology/Sociology at the University of Graz in Austria in 1994.
